Approved In Home Care Conducts Lunch-and-Learn at Baybrooke Village Care and Rehabilitation Center

Baybrooke Village & Rehab picJohn Bolin, our Client Manager, of Approved In Home Care provided a well attended, recent in-service to the Social Workers, Department Head, and Therapy staff at Baybrooke Village Care and Rehabilitation Center, McKinney, Texas in the Stonebridge Ranch area.

Baybrooke Village & Rehab was awarded US News & World Report 2013 best in Nursing Homes and is a state of the art campus. John conducted a lunch and learn for the wonderful staff and Department Heads who packed the meeting to learn more about our Stroke Recognition, Dementia Care, and Fall prevention programs for patients who will be discharging soon. The staff was very attentive and enjoyed learning how Baybrooke and Approved In Home Care can partner together and work to connect senior patients with our services before they discharge out of Baybrooke, so the transition back home is seamless.

Approved catered a wonderful grilled chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing while discussing our specialized programs of taking the extra step in caring for seniors and elderly in McKinney, Plano, Dallas, Allen, Frisco and surrounding cities. Zack McConnell, our Owner, said the facility at Baybrooke is beautiful and the staff is very professional. Approved offers specialized care for senior patients as they discharge from Baybrooke Village Care and Rehab. We can also remind our patients to continue working on the physical therapy exercises shown to them at the facility, which improves patient care at home.

We highlighted our new Dementia program that is nationally recognized provided by our highly skilled nurse aids and CNA’s on our staff. Approved In Home Care provides Baybrooke Village & Rehab a customized plan of care for patients who do not want to move into a nursing home or prefer to move back home after discharging from Baybrooke. We assist elderly who need in home care in North Dallas and surrounding areas with a qualified home caregiver for a few hours of care, or up to live-in care, including Hospice patients. Some patients are ready for discharge from Baybrooke, but are not ready to live alone, and still need care upon going home. We help seniors transition back home by offering care services in their home. We can meet with patients in the facility to help with the transition back to home. Due to our forward thinking discharge services, we have a low hospital readmission rate which improves patient care and keeps seniors healthy.

Approved In Home Care hires only experienced caregivers who are skilled in senior care including: bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, light house cleaning, nutritious meal preparation, errands, Doctor appointments, companionship, grocery shopping, to picking up prescriptions. We look forward to continuing working with Baybrooke Village & Rehab and helping their patients live comfortably and safely at home as they continue a recovery program.
